When I was getting married, the ring was the last thing I thought about. I think it was about a month before the wedding before it dawned on my fiancé and me that the rings didn’t just magically appear on the ring bearer’s pillow (which, ironically, I had thought enough about to get from my sister). Now, I’m happy with my wedding ring, and I assume my husband is as well, but I can’t say I have the same affection for it that I do for my engagement ring.
