There is something about men in suspenders that makes the wedding's atmosphere a bit more lighthearted and fun! They add a vintage touch, a little bit of rock 'n' roll and a whole lot of attitude to the men's attire on the big day.

Don't worry about sacrificing a formal feel at your wedding. During the ceremony the jackets can stay on and no one will see the suspenders, but during pictures and the reception let the guys cut loose and have some fun!

Your first thought when you hear suspenders might be... "dorky" or "unnecessary". I suggest giving them a chance, not because they will help the men hold their pants up during the ceremony - but for the edge they will contribute. The picture possibilities that your photographer will have to play around with are endless and the guys will love the extra accessory.

Don't just stick with black suspenders, get creative with colorful or even patterned suspenders. Remember, no one will see them while the jackets are on. They will be a fun surprise to your guests when the groomsmen show up to the reception! This trend is definitely one I would love to see take off.
