  • Interesting! In my opinion, the wedding budget including the cost of the wedding reception, wedding dress, wedding photography and so on. So how to reduce wedding costs? A cheap wedding dress may work! I know a nice online boutique--www.eastbridal.com, and the wedding dresses and other gowns of it are so fabulous but with bargain prices! Everyone of you could check it out and have a look! Maybe there will be an unexpected surprise!

  • Reality strikes when couples set their wedding budget. Most couples pick a number based on what they have saved or what parents are contributing. This is a great place to start. As a former wedding planner, I would say that nine times out of ten these budgets were unrealistic. For example, you can't have a sit down dinner for 200 guests and pay for the rest of the wedding with $2,000 (not even at McDonald's with value meal prices)!

Start with a list of items you want and/or need to put the wedding you want together. Then prioritize these items. If photos are the most important item on your list then you may have to shift costs or delete something from your list to pay for the best photographer in town.

Of course, there are tons of trade secrets on how to cut the costs of your wedding without giving up your dream wedding, so figure out ways to do this without sacrificing what you want!
