Sara and Tucker seem to be such a perfect fit for one another! They love to laugh at themselves, enjoy life and their friends, and are truly, deeply in love. They were so much fun to photograph! They wanted a mix of slightly traditional portraits, but mainly, fun, candid portraits that showed off their personalities.
Their wedding was at Fireseed Catering, a gorgeous venue in the woods outside of Langley on Whidbey Island. I could describe the wedding style as a down-to-earth country style... with homemade jam for their favors, and the flower arrangements with a more ‘natural’ look & design (yet they were sophisticated at the same time). Sara’s wedding dress was a gorgeous champagne color, entirely lace, with a golden sash and trailing ribbon. The dress was perfect for her vintage look. They had a great idea for the reception- they had a red backdrop setup and a box of vintage clothes for costumes, for candid fun shots of whomever wished to pose for the camera.
One of my favorite weddings I've seen in a while. Great color choice--the royal blue really stands out and adds an elegant flair. Also the bride's dress' details are amazing--trailing ribbon and champagne colored lace. Love!
very cool & different wedding themes, great to see people can show their own style, & not always stick to the norm.
I love these images! I checked out the photographer's website and I am in LOVE with her style! I had a phone conference with Willa Kveta yesterday and I am set on hiring her for our destination wedding in Southern California! Can't wait! I'm so glad we found her!
