Happy Monday Savvy Scoopers. Here in Chicago, this weekend had all the typical spring weather, sunny and warm one minute, cold and rainy the next. It’s always a risk you take with spring weddings, but the payoffs of beautiful flowers, generally good travel weather, and the feel of love in the air is well worth it. Here’s an idea to lessen the threat of an impending cold front.
Why not get your bridesmaids gorgeous pashima scarves to wear over their dresses. If you’re one of those super-nice brides who is letting the girls choose their own dresses, these scarves can be a great way to get a unified look, while still letting each girl dress to her own advantage. The ones here come from Amazing Collections, but you could also take this idea and use it with a lighter weight fabric. In fact, if you have an aunt or cousin who is handy with the sewing machine, consider a trip to the fabric store for a less expensive option. If you’re not a sewer yourself, make sure to ask for help in picking a fabric that will work well.
