Bohemian Bride: Gardens of Whimsy

About Bride Chic

One of my favorite bridal themes within the whole scope of wedding fashion is the Boho Movement. What exactly is Boho?

Defined, the 'look' borrows from peasant, early bohemian and hippie looks of the 1960's. Boho can be earthy and ethereal all at once creating visions of an earth angel appearing out of the mist... With wedding dresses donning diaphanous fabrics, the look is often topped off with head wreaths made out of fresh flowers and greenery or flowers strewn through long, flowing wedding hair. A recent Etsy find, Gardens of Whimsy has become one of my top sites for sharing with brides. April, owner and shopkeeper not only creates these one-of-a-kind beauties in the form of wreaths and headbands, her Celtic beauty lends itself to being the perfect model as well.
