I don't know about you, but I LOVED January Jones' red carpet hairstyle at the
2011 Golden Globes. Her
1920's-inspired brushed out wave was picture perfect with her bold red lips and gown.
This
Old Hollywood Glamhairstyle would look great with a French net
veil, blusher, or bridal fascinator. And paired with a slinky, sheath style
wedding dress (
Jenny Packham's gorgeous dresses come to mind) and retro
peep-toe bridal heels, the look would be divine.
It's a simple enough hairstyle to
DIY, so read on to learn the
4 steps to achieve the brushed out wave hairstyle that January Jones sported at the Golden Globes! Celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora shares the scoop:
Step 1: Starting with wet hair, apply a volumizing mousse to your roots. Then from the middle of your head down to the ends, apply a smoothing cream (like Frederic Fekkai Coiff Controle Ironless Straightening Balm) to create volume and de-frizz your hair.
Step 2: Create a deep side part and blow dry your hair with a large round brush.
Step 3: Using large hot rollers, set your hair and let it sit for 10 minutes. Once it's time to release the hair from the rollers, brush through it gently to create volume and the seamless curled shape.
Step 4: Spritz the brushed out wave with a stronghold hairspray, and you're done!
