I attended an event at
Caroline DeVillo’s Chicago design studio last night. DeVillo just launched her Cocktail and Kiddy Cocktail Collections, and I fell in love with a few of the pieces in the Cocktail Collection.
And, the Kiddy Cocktail dresses for Flower Girls were some of the cutest little things I’ve ever seen!
While there, I browsed DeVillo’s Couture
Wedding Dresses, and there were a couple of things that stood out…
- DeVillo has quite a knack for
choosing gorgeous, luxurious, fabrics: You’ll have to see and feel to truly understand, but the fabrics were so rich and silky, I wanted to curl up in them and take a nap (that would be an expensive nap, now, wouldn’t it?).
Brides wearing
Caroline DeVillo will be comfortably tearing up the dance floor all night long, if they so choose.
- She’s all about
oversized details, and incorporates these into her dresses seamlessly: Think oversized covered buttons, bows, sashes, origami details and flowers.
- Not only does she have a knack for choosing fabulous fabrics, but for colors as well: NO bright, blinding white
wedding dresses here (Thank God!). Instead, DeVillo uses
creamy ivories & soft cappuccinos.
- Her dresses just scream understated elegance, and I love it.
