If you’re planning a bridal shower, or other get together, one way to save money without looking like your skimping is to invite people for coffee and dessert. With dessert, you need less food per person than you do with appetizers. Coffee and dessert don’t have to wait until night time, with the right decorations you can have a mid-day sweets fest.
To make the cheerful decorations above, just take 4 glass cylinder vases, line them with your favorite scrapbook paper and flip them upside down. Don’t worry if you don’t have fancy espresso cups, plain white ones will look just as decorative, and give you more freedom with pattern choices.
Coffee, decaf, espresso, hot chocolate, and tea are all inexpensive drinks to serve, but if you want to add a little extra umph, try this white chocolate raspberry cocoa.
