Question for Brides: Do You Feel Pressure to Pick Hot Bridesmaids?

As I pore over featured wedding submissions to publish on our blog, I can't help but notice one thing. There's a blushing bride, a handsome groom, and a smokin' hot group of bridesmaids. This always seemed a bit counterintuitive to me (maybe it was that Bridezillas episode featuring an overwieght, unhappy bride who banned her groom's attractive little sis from the bridal party). Bur during a recent wedding meetup here in Chicago, a photographer shed light on what's driving the hot bridesmaids phenomenon...

When the topic came up, this wedding photographer stated plainly, "I think brides feel pressure to choose an attractive bridal party." And why might that be?
