It’s almost here: The New Year, new wedding engagements, and Matrimony Monday, when all those newly engaged brides start their online wedding planning in earnest.
Alongside all this excitement comes Leap Year, a new movie from Universal Pictures opening on January 8th. Leap Year explores what happens to one would-be-bride (Anna, played by Amy Adams) when her expected engagement falls through. Anna decides to take advantage of an old Irish tradition and follow her guy to Dublin to propose on Leap Day. Along the way, she meets some bad weather and a handsome Welshman (Matthew Goode) who might change her plans.
We were lucky enough to score some guest passes to the screening for this adorable new movie and we want to invite our Chicago readers to join us at 7 p.m. on January 4th at a downtown Chicago movie theater.
