Way, way back in July 2009 we talked about the new trend of women proposing to men. Now, there’s a fun new romantic comedy from Universal Pictures called Leap Year (opening January 8) that also picks up on the idea.
When Anna (Amy Adams) has had enough of her boyfriend Jeremy’s (Adam Scott) stalling, she decides to take advantage of an Irish tradition and propose to him in on Leap Day. What do you want to bet that Declan (Matthew Goode) is there to put some hitches in her plan to get hitched?
The movie looks super-cute (as does leading man Matthew Goode), and we’re so excited to see the January 5th screening in Downtown Chicago that we’re inviting you and a guest to join us for it.
If you’re in Chicago and you and a friend want to WIN FREE MOVIE TICKETS, just register on OneWed.com and leave a comment below answering this question: Why is the idea of women proposing to men still so controversial?
