Carrie Underwood is set to wed Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher tomorrow.
But don’t expect it to be a low-key affair like Megan Fox’s beachside nuptials!
Underwood is staying true to her roots, tying the knot in the small town of Greensboro, GA. As for the wedding itself, though, Underwood and Fisher are bringing the glitz and glam of Hollywood to Greensboro; the wedding venue is the Ritz Carlton Lodge, and they’ve rented out the entire resort, all 251 rooms of it! I guess if your wedding budget is a cool $500,000, renting out the Ritz for the weekend is a small drop in the bucket.
Underwood is expected to arrive in Greensboro today, and guess what her mode of transportation will be?? A helicopter of course! The famous couple and their wedding guests will have free reign of the hotel’s private lake and Reynolds Plantation golf course, and a luxurious tent set up lakeside will be where Carrie and Mike say I Do!
It's been confirmed that American Idol judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson will be in attendance. I wonder what other celebs will be on the guest list?? And what I really want to know- who will Carrie be wearing!? Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Reem Acra... or will she go in a totally different direction and don a custom made wedding dress by a non-bridal designer?
