Invite IdoStream to Your Wedding!

May 11th 2009 11:27am | by Azure
Save to Stuff I Love!

Say "I Do" to I Do Stream.com and broadcast your wedding, live!

Did you know that you could bring your wedding vows and beautiful ceremony to all those loved ones who just couldn't make the big day? With high travel costs and the uncertain economy throwing a wrench in vacation plans, and more and more people studying/working abroad, it's expected that some of your family and friends will be unable to attend your wedding.

With IdoStream, these guests will attend your wedding virtually, and enjoy all your most special moments from the comfort of their living room. Invite IdoStream to your wedding, and broadcast a high quality video stream of your wedding live over the internet! Did you know that this service existed, because I sure didn't!

  • I wish I knew about this when I got married. I have family on every continent and they couldn't all make it, this would have been perfect.

  • This is especially great for grandparents!

  • It sounds like you would be able to download the video after the wedding. If you have some editing skills, you may be able to use this instead of a videographer - better price too!

  • I have heard of having live internet broadcasts of weddings, but I didn't know there was a company that could do it for you. This is a very neat idea!

  • This is pretty cool (see above comments about grandparents and other continents), but I also can't resist thinking a little bit creepy to feel like you're on reality tv!

  • I think it is a great idea. I don't think it would make me feel any more uncomfortable than having to feel camera ready with a regular videographer. Besides, there a some good tips to being on television/camera. POWDER is the BEST way to look great behind a camera. Shine is terrible. I love powder. Loose powder is best, and you should use one - 1/2 shade darker than you normally wear - flashes and lights will wash you out.

  • Holy cow! What a fantastic idea. A lot of my family and my fiances family is spread out across the east coast and many won't be able to make it. This is definitely something I'm going to check out.

  • Would this count as my 15 minutes of fame? Great point about family scattered around and the economny. We're worried that some my finace's (small) family won't be able to attend since it involves them traveling across the country with small children. He's kind of bummed since the wedding is in my hometown and I have A TON of relatives; he's worried that his family won't be represented. This is a great way to make his family feel included, even if they can't make the wedding.

  • This is a great idea. I think there's an option to password protect the live broadcast so not the whole world will be able to watch it. In that case, there's not reason to feel creepy about it.
