Our first wedding of 2010 was spectacular! It came as no surprise that Emily and Jake's wedding was such a smashing success; given how cute they both are! What was surprising was to learn that almost everything was DIY! From the wedding flowers, to the invitations, to the cute little placecards tied to the guests' chairs. The weather was perfect; the music was perfect; Emily and Jake were perfect. Their families are as tight as they are delightful!
Coyote Hills was an incredible backdrop for their outdoor wedding. With the sun sitting low and the waterfalls in the distance, they said their vows while teary-eyed family members looked on. They didn't have a traditional wedding party with the exception of their adorable flower girl. I even saw a few tears spilling down her cheeks as Jake put the wedding ring on Emily's finger.
Pete Goslow provided the acoustical guitar sounds for the wedding ceremony as well as the music and emceeing at the reception. He, by the way, is an amazing singer and songwriter.
If this wedding is any indication of what we have to look forward to, 2010 is going to be sublime!
