Hayley and Phillip have come a long way since their first date in high school. Over the years their love has seen them through homecoming dances, sorority date functions, and law school formals. The pair are from Tallahassee, and are getting married there in July 2010. So naturally, they chose the town as the site for their engagement pictures. The shoot began at Maclay Gardens, a gorgeous Florida state park filled with stunning moss draped oak trees and brightly blooming flowers. The love between the two is so apparent and the comfort they take in each other is heartwarming. They had a fun time during the shoot, had plenty of creative ideas of their own and even climbed a few trees while at Maclay.
After Maclay Gardens the pair changed clothes and headed over to Railroad Square, a funky art park near downtown Tallahassee. The boldly painted buildings provided an edgy, upbeat feel to the pictures, which was a great contrast to the softer, more romantic pictures taken earlier at the gardens. Phillip was the most patient groom I’ve ever encountered and he loved having his picture taken. He and Hayley were so content to smile and cuddle for pictures all the way until the sun went down.
Congratulations Hayley and Phillip on your engagement!
