Now, I don't want to discount the advice of my esteemed colleagues, but I would like to point out that simply reducing your guest list is not a magic bullet for your wedding budget woes. Over 50% of your budget has NOTHING to do with how many guests you have. So, yes, reduce your guest list if you can (and if you want to), but remember there are a lot of other ways to trim your budget as well.
