Are you KC? Help a bride find her online marriage proposal!

Jun 8th 2009 8:40am | by Ali
Save to Stuff I Love!

Time for a little pure romance with a touch of serendipity. Not to mention a chance to guide Cupid's arrow.

A web designer with a little adventure in his soul has set up a website for his wedding proposal...but hasn't told his intended about it.

He's counting on the good people of the Internet to spread the word about his site, Will You Marry Me, KC? and help the girl get to her ring.

While you're there, you can take the Will You Marry Me survey - Careful! If you claim to be KC, you'll have to pass a test! - catch up on updates (no acceptance as of post time), and even rate the ring.

And be sure to spread the word and spread the love. Wouldn't it be fun to be the one who points KC to the site?

Everyone who's dated a good geek knows how much romance they have in their cyberhearts, which is why this entry is kicking off OneWed's Geek Week. Check back every day for a celebration of the world's most wonderfully geeky proposals.

What about you? Would you rather have a public proposal or something private? Would you rather have the fun of a buildup to a big surprise or get to the proposal right away? Let us know in the comments!

  • Everyone's proposal should be special to them. I know that mine was - some girls are "get on one knee in front of strangers" some are "in our house quietly alone" - and some find adventure (ie: the guy who wrote out will you marry me on her landing pad for sky diving~) in their proposals. Im sure when KC finds this, she will understand the amount of effort and thought put into it, and she will think " i wouldnt want it any other way" - im glad he chose something so quirky! its a fun story they can tell forever~~

  • I think this is a cute idea I guess ... will make for some good stories ;) I prefer the at home alone romantic moments :)

  • Wow! I honestly very much appreciate the sense of adventure and creativity behind this idea. Think about it; now she will have the pleasure of knowing that he loves her and cyber space knows about it! (This is an added bonus because you don't actually most people on the web, making it way less embarassing than in front of your family reunion.) There was plenty of time, and it's kind of neat to think of when or where she will be when she stumbles upon this! How cool!

  • He really has some patience! It's been up for almost a year . . . I know most guys get antsy waiting to ask. I hope he finds her soon!
