Featured Wedding: Jeff and Angel

Jeff and Angel's wedding at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus was easily the most interesting wedding I shot in 2008.
"Traditional" is certainly not a word that I would use to describe them. When I met with Angel the first time and saw that she had written the word "steampunk" in for the wedding's theme, I knew we would be making some remarkable images together.
Steampunk is a style that is best understood as coming straight out of Jules Verne's imagination: Victorian Sci-Fi. It was an apt choice, considering that the ceremony and reception were being held in the Palm Room in the 113-year-old, Victorian-style Conservatory.
