Real Wedding Inspiration: Contemporary Yet Timeless In Saint Louis, MO

Angela and Chris took a very refreshing, relaxed approach to their wedding day, and just let it flow... and it showed in their rad wedding photos! Their wedding party inlcuded some of our favorite past clients, Chase and Megan. Most wedding photographers, including myself, would have tried to plan photos downtown and by the famous Arch, but this wedding didn't need any of that. The Hilton wedding venue gave us all of the unique backgrounds we could need and more.
After the couple's private "first look" moment, Chris serenaded Angela with her favorite song, singing and playing the guitar, and there wasn't a dry eye in the hallway outside their room while the wedding party waited patiently. We spent the next few hours running around the hotel taking photos, and captured some dynamic retro images. After a beautiful wedding ceremony with heartfelt written words from the best man, the party began with fine food and drinks. My favorite part of the reception was when the bride and groom competed against one another in a contest involving toilet paper and a stick. The person that removed the t.p. fastest from the roll retained the title of being "in charge" of the marriage, and Chris came out victorious! Good luck, Chris! The wedding festivities finished with the traditional Italian cookie-cake dance to the Tarantella. What a blast!
