Classic Red and White Fall Wedding in Virginia: Ben and Brianne

Posted by Azure on November 16th, 2010
It's been quite some time since I featured a real wedding from one of my favorite wedding photography duos- Rothwell Photography, located in Harrisonburg, VA. The way Rothwell is able to capture the emotions of the day in the wedding photos is really something special. So today, I'm thrilled to feature a standout wedding from the great Rothwell Photography!

Ben and Brianne tied the knot on October 10, 2010 in Charlottesville, VA. Their wedding ceremony was held at an incredibly beautiful traditional church- St. Paul's Episcopal in Ivy, VA. Brianne looked stunning in an ivory satin wedding dress (embellished with beading and lace) and hot red peep-toebridal heels! Ben's wedding day look was classic, a black tux with a white vest, shirt and bow tie. And after Ben and Brianne said I Do, they jetted off to their wedding reception in style- in a red antique convertible car. How's that for some hot wedding day transportation?!

The reception was held at the Farmington Country Club, and the wedding reception decor was drool-worthy! Each reception table featured a sky high topiary- a dome of red or ivory clustered carnations situated atop a clear hurricane vase. Extending from the centerpieces were manzanita branches adorned with hanging crystals. The couple incorporated dazzling crystals, deep red and ivory wedding flowers, and lots of candle light throughout the reception decor, and the finished product was incredibly romantic and enchanting.
