Andrew and Alison's March 26th wedding was the perfect mix of rustic chic and vintage charm. This gorgeous couple incorporated lots of pretty DIY details, details that helped tell the story of their wedding day.
The wedding venue for the ceremony and reception was a heritage building in Smithers, BC, the Old Church. Staggered birch logs of various sizes were topped with vintage Mason jars of tealights, green and white paper lanterns were strung from the ceiling and the reception tables were set up with glass vases of simple wedding flower arrangements of branches, daisies and button mums. It was all very pretty and organic, and I loved the green, white and black wedding color palette.
After a few struggles with getting Andrew’s wedding ring on, there was the ceremony kiss that sealed the deal and the couple walked down the aisle to be greeted by close family and friends. There was plenty of time for visiting and eating delicious appetizers before a Greek-inspired meal prepared by the ever-wonderful ladies at Two Sisters Catering, Janet and Christine.
