Alex and Xan tied the knot on 10.09.2010 in Youngstown, Ohio. The lovely artistic pair fell in love while studying dance in school and have since opened up their own studio. This proved advantageous, as the couple's company dancers put on quite the show, dancing down the ceremony aisle.
The ceremony venue was as traditional as it was gorgeous. High vaulted ceilings, stained-glass windows and a long, dramatic aisle. Alex and Xan's wedding oozed nostalgic vintage style; the bride wore her mother's wedding dress, a long-sleeved ivory lace confection (now very much on-trend thanks to Kate Middleton's royal wedding dress), and the groom rocked an old-school tailcoat.
The Youngstown Country Club served as the wedding reception venue, a venue rich with history. This 19th century club was built just 10 years after America’s introduction to golf, and physical relics of times' past are still in place. The entire day was the perfect blend of timeless class and complete unpretentious fun. Infused with such deep love, the type of love that makes you believe in destiny, I was honored to be part of this special day!
