Summer Wedding in Virginia: Megan and Ryan

Megan and Ryan got married near Richmond, VA at a beautiful estate located on the Swift Creek Reservoir, Celebrations at the Reservoir.

The ceremony was held on the dock and the wedding reception was held poolside and inside, with a cocktail hour on another nearby dock and landing area. The waterfront locale was romantic and memorable! And despite the July heat and considerable humidity (which reached nearly 95 degrees), it was beautiful and enjoyable.

The couple's wedding programs doubled as paper fans for their wedding guests and matched their wedding cake topper of a tandem bike, a common interest in Megan and Ryan's active life. Megan's mother did all of the decorations and all the wedding flowers. The couple shared their first dance beside the pool and then danced the night away there too. The newlyweds made their exit leaving on a pontoon boat to top it all off! Wedding Pros
