About Bubbly Bride
Yummy hotdogs, cheese and fruit station, and brick oven pizzas will keep your wedding guests happy!

If you and your husband met in New York City, moved to Chicago but left your heart in NYC... why not remind your guests what you love about the city? You might not be able to return to your favorite location, but you can bring it to your friends and family!

The best way to pull off this idea at your wedding, is to create food stations. I will use New York as an example since they are known for their famous food, found all over the different neighborhoods. Instead of hosting a full sit-down dinner reception, arrange for a variety (ideally around 5-6) stations to represent your favorite neighborhoods or restaurants from back home.

For example, if your city of choice was NYC than you could include neighborhoods such as, Chinatown, Little Italy, Brooklyn, Coney Island, SoHo etc. At each station serve items such as spring rolls and sushi in Chinatown, Famous Nathan's Hot dogs in Coney Island and a beautiful cheese, fruit and cracker display in Soho. There are endless possibilities for these stations and if you get creative your wedding will be a huge success!

With the variety of options, no one should leave your event hungry!

Don't forget that with all of this delicious food your guests will get thirsty! To tie in the New York theme, plan to serve Long Islands, Manhattans and Big Apple Martinis! Let me know your ideas on creating food stations or what you would add to my New York event! Photo 1 (clockwise): Nathan's Famous Hot Dog, Hotel Banquet & Catering, On-Hudson.com
