About It's A Jaime Thing A Sneak Peek From My Sister's Wedding This Weekend...
Colorful gerbera daisy’s in pink, orange, yellow, green, purple and blue

She's married. My little sister is officially married! The vows took place this weekend, so you know I couldn't wait to share the details with you. While I'm waiting for more pictures to roll in, here's a little sneak peek... Next week, I'll give you the rest of the details! (Please forgive my lovely photography skills...or rather, lack of! Did I mention my camera batteries died too? I wish I had more pictures to share...)

Her wedding was so colorful and gorgeous! When she originally started planning, she couldn't decide on just one or two colors, so instead she picked them all. Why not, right? It made it easier, so she just went with it...and it couldn't have turned out better!

The wedding ceremony was held outside. Lucky for them, they were blessed with perfect, sunny and breezy weather. Chairs were tied with long gerbera daisy stems and at the alter stood the fabulous bride and groom, in front of a lovely waterfall. To add a little fun and something different to the ceremony, they invited their two poodles down the aisle for a blessing, where each dog received a bone. I cannot explain to you how adorable it was!

After the ceremony, the wedding party and guests made their way into a gorgeous white tent decorated from floor to ceiling with colors of pink, orange, yellow, green, purple and turquoise blue. Centerpieces were filled with different color gerbera daisies as tiny gerbera daisy confetti was spread across the tables. Chairs were covered in white, each with a different color organza sash, to coordinate with her color scheme.

Dinner was served, the toasts were made, cake was enjoyed and then it was time to party!

Check back next week for Part Deux of my sister's wedding, including one very funny story from the event! Thanks for reading! I can't wait to finally show you the professional pictures once we get them in. Until then, feel free to visit the wedding blog I write at, where I'll be posting more details from her wedding soon. Cheers to the happy couple and to all of you! ~Jaime
