Convertible Wedding Dresses: 2011 Style Update on 2-in-1 Gowns

Posted by Azure on March 8th, 2011

Last April we did a post about convertible (or 2-in-1) wedding dresses, and it was a HUGE hit!

Since 2011 brides are all about showing their stylish sides, many want to debut a second look, and second dress, at their wedding reception. David's Bridal continues to innovate, making two big moves in 2011. First, they partnered with bridal style genius Vera Wang to launch White by Vera Wang, a line of affordable wedding dresses that are high on style. And now, they've unveiled two lovely 2-in-1 wedding dresses! These convertible wedding dresses are more than budget-friendly. On average, brides spend $1,100 on the wedding dress. The 2-in-1 dresses from David's Bridal are priced well below the average spend, at $599. So you get two dresses for the price of one, and the price of one will make your wedding budget do cartwheels! I also love the Martina Liana convertible dress in photo 3. This gown isn't quite as easy on the budget, but it's definitely easy on the eyes! What do you think? Are you loving these 2-in-1 wedding dresses from David's Bridal? And, are you planning on sporting two looks (one for the ceremony, one for the reception) on your big day?
