Couture 2011 Dresses to Inspire Your Wedding Day Look

From Paris with love... Couture 2011 has arrived!

There's no denying that high-fashion catwalks provide fabulous bridal style inspiration. Especially when designers are showing their incredible couture creations! Two of my favorite Couture 2011 collections thus far--Giambattista Valli and Valentino. Giambattista Valli's debut collection at Paris Haute Couture left fashionistas begging for more. From Jackie O-inspired coats and shifts to feather-embellished little white dresses, Valli hit so many high notes. While chic and understated as a whole, the collection is dripping with decadent details. Grecian-inspired waist-cinching belts, sheer illusion necklines, romantic embellishments and delicate beading galore. I'm still swooning for Giambattista Valli couture! Valentino's couture 2011 stunners literally floated down the runway. Exuding contemporary romance and ethereal beauty, this couture collection is enchanting and full of twists and turns. Sleek column dresses, unadorned except for dainty braid details, embodied Kate Middleton's understated style, and crystal-encrusted frocks with long, sheer sleeves dazzled.

Metallic gold beading added a touch of glam, and bohemian chic gowns featured floral applique, feathered fringe and lovely lace. Dresses and frocks aside, how wedding day worthy is the muted metallic jacquard jacket (photo 12) and winter white cape? I'm so smitten! Are you feeling inspired by these delicious couture collections? How will you incorporate a touch of couture into your wedding day style? Post a comment to share your thoughts!
