We spotted the illusion necklines wedding dress trend months ago. But after seeing all the Fall 2012 bridal collections in New York (and hearing a top bridal designer like Reem Acra make the bold statement above), we've realized that alluring transparency is a bona fide trend!

Touches of sheer didn't stop at the neckline... some gowns were dripping in see-through net, tulle and lace. Translucent cap sleeves were beaded to the hilt, and voluminous layered overskirts added more than a touch of whimsy.
