If you’re a reader of Oh Lovely Day, you know I’m obsessed with all things vintage. I have vintage-themed pinterest boards. I can’t get enough vintage inspiration! One of my favorite places to make your wedding vintage is your table. If you’re looking to have a vintage wedding, your must-have is a vintage tabletop. There are quite a few ways to achieve a vintage table look:
Use vintage props on or around your tables. Include old books as part of your centerpieces, put florals in vintage tea tins, or incorporate old tables or mismatched vintage chairs. You can use vintage suitcases, globes, or clocks to create a vintage table “theme.” Or style the area around the table with things like old mirrors, frames, or lampshades to give the table a vintage feel.

You can also use vintage china, matching or mismatched, to create a vintage tabletop. Also consider vintage flatware, teacups, goblets, and glassware.

And finally, your choice of table linens can make or break a vintage table. You can use burlap, lace, doilies, hankies, quilts, or even an old bed sheet to create a lovely look. Also think about unique items, such as chicken wire, that you can use to create a unique and vintage runner or table square.
