On my way to work this morning, I read an upsetting news article that really touched my heart (and made me appreciate what we have here in the U.S.). A beautiful Muslim model in Malaysia has admitted to drinking a beer... And under Islamic law, she'll be punished for this by a caning. Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno is the first woman in Malaysia to be given this punishment, and will be imprisoned for one-week while her sentence is carried out.
