A Wedding Decor DIY You’ll Want to Try

Are you sick of hearing me talk about ombre this and ombre that for your wedding? Hopefully not, because I found an ombre chrysanthemum lantern DIY that is too gorgeous to pass up!

Just picture these lush, frilly lanterns in shades of peach and coral hanging from the trees surrounding your outdoor reception (or cocktail hour) venue. They'll add a touch of whimsy, and have all your guests talking!

And believe it or not, this is a totally budget-friendly wedding DIY. Why? Well... the main ingredient is the trusty coffee filter! If you're a Costco member (or have a friend/family member who is) you can buy packs of 700 filters for just $2.50. And depending on the lantern size you choose (8" or 20"), you'll need between 50 and 300+ filters per lantern. Translation- your $2.50 for 700 filters goes a long way baby! For the full DIY tutorial, head over to the Aunt Peaches blog.
