Modern Real Wedding with Tons of SPARKLE!

Posted by HannahN on August 21st, 2014

Tara told her wedding planners from the very beginning that she LOVED SPARKLE. Spencer, not one to disappoint his lady, went full force into the idea. He attended all décor meetings, always had something to say, and he gave his beautiful bride the look she dreamed of. The team began by designing their color board, which ended up being silver (in the form of glitter and sequins), plum, and a touch of turquoise. Mirrors were used frequently in the décor (including table numbers) to magnify the sparkle even further. Reception tables were adorned in silver sparkles from top to bottom that twinkled in the candlelight. Their signature drink was a “Sparkle Bomb” (the disco ball stir stick is so fun), the cake was festooned in custom fondant sequins, escort cards were glitter heart ornaments hung from shiny silver trees, custom sequin pillows were made to decorate the lounge, and they had a Sparkler Exit at the end of their evening! The use of hearts throughout the evening was also a mini Tara and Spencer theme. A custom fabric draped chandelier was created and hung regally over the dance floor. The squares that made up the dance floor were also used to create the couple's gorgeous white aisle, with white LED lights that were turned on to create a party atmosphere. The custom snow cone bar was a fun surprise for guests on the hot summer day. Guests were able to eat their snow cone as they danced the night away, or take one for the road in a custom Tara and Spencer logo cup! When Tara and Spencer arrived at the venue to see their design come to life, they were truly floored.
