Frustrated in her own search for a wedding dress that reflected who she is, Vera Wang decided to start designing her own wedding dress collection. In 1990, she introduced her first wedding gown collection in her newly opened bridal salon on Madison Avenue. Since then, the Vera Wang Collection and Vera Wang Luxe collection introduces new designs twice a year.
