Favorite Eco-Friendly Wedding Dresses from Spring Bridal Market

Posted by Eco-Beautiful Weddings on April 24th, 2012

Bridal Market is always such an exciting time! While there are hundreds of designers showcasing their new designs, only a few really make the cut when it comes to being green! When looking for a gown for your dream green wedding…think about where the designers are manufacturing their wedding dresses and the details on the gowns. The more local the designer is, the better! You will be pleasantly surprised to see that these designers provide true eco choices with couture style for your big day!

Claire Pettibone is based in Los Angeles and is known for her incredibly unique style! All of her gowns are designed and manufactured right in LA but you don't  have to travel to Cali to get her dresses. Claire Pettibone's gorgeous gowns are featured in bridal salons all over the United States and beyond!

Rafael Cennamo is based in New York City and does all of the designs himself right in NYC. The gorgeous dreamy ballgown (above) is as couture as it gets and handmade by Rafael and his team!

Ahhh…all Monique Lhuillier gowns are every classic bride's dream come true. Even better – she is based right out of Los Angeles and designs all of her wedding dresses in the States. Now East Coast brides can have the thrill of finding their Monique gowns at the new store opening in New York City as well (along with bridal salons all over the states)!

All of the lovely dresses coming out of Romona Keveza's lines are created right in North America with all sorts of details coming from exclusive ateliers in Europe. She only deals with fair wage and fair trade practicing ateliers as all the beading and crystal accents are done by hand by skilled artisans.

Will you choose an eco-friendly wedding dress? If so, which green bridal designer makes you swoon?
