Yes, you heard that right! The buzz about SpongeBob SquarePants' wedding planning may not be as high-profile as, say, Penelope Cruz or Kevin Jonas - but he still has legions of grown-up fans who may be interested in watching the big event.

According to Nickelodeon, SpongeBob will by marrying Sandy the squirrel during a one-hour special on November 6, 8 p.m. EST.

The episode, entitled Truth or Square, will feature the voices of big-name celebrities such as Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Pink, LeBron James, Robin Williams and Craig Ferguson playing themselves.

Ricky Gervais narrates the special, which is focused around a series of never-before-seen flashbacks involving the Bikini Bottom gang.

Entertainment Weekly has posted a clip from the nuptials, which shows Sandy in a white wedding dress, veil and - of course - her requisite glass helmet that allows a land creature to live under water.

Although we get to see the couple say their vows and try to kiss (the helmet is a bit of an impediment), the clip doesn't spill the beans on where SpongeBob and Sandy are going for their honeymoon. To a coral reef perhaps?
