FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
OneWed Launches Ideabooks To Become A One-Stop Shop For Brides To Collect, Organize And Share Inspiration.
Seattle, WA, May 3, 2013 – OneWed.com today released Ideabooks to put actionable inspiration brides can actually plan with one click away from being saved and shared. With tens of thousands of photos, and hundreds of new images added daily, nearlyweds can say goodbye to the painstaking task of trolling the internet for inspiring photos and head right to OneWed to create custom Ideabook collections.
Brides no longer have to deal with static wedding inspiration leading back to dead end links (ahem, Pinterest) or photos they love lacking proper source credit. Once a photo is added to an Ideabook, it’s a one-click process to contact the vendor, brand, or designer responsible for the image.
“We realized we had the perfect foundation for Ideabooks; 40,000 plus local and national vendors uploading images daily, an amazing collection of editorial pieces, and partnerships with some of the best wedding brands,” said OneWed CEO, John Scrofano, when asked about the product’s origins. “Most importantly, the over 800,000 brides who visit OneWed monthly have been asking for this.”
Once logged in, users simply click the heart on any image to add it to an Ideabook. Images can be saved to a general “My Inspiration” collection, a collection suggested by OneWed (such as Décor or Wedding Dresses), or a custom-named collection created by the bride. Ideabooks can be made public or private, and shared on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google+.
Ideabooks are also huge news for vendors and advertisers searching for the best way to insert their goods or services into a couple’s wedding budget. OneWed’s seamless native advertising presents product photos to brides as actionable inspiration, leading back to a point of contact, and easily added to an ideabook.
The groundwork for Ideabooks was set in October, with OneWed's complete site overhaul that put the focus on photos and actionable inspiration. The move paid off, and led to a 50% growth in overall monthly traffic.
“As both a bride-to-be and a wedding blogger, I am the ultimate inspiration seeker. And it really is tough keeping track of it all! That’s why I love this product—it connects you with a brand’s product or a potential vendor through gorgeous imagery, and puts an end to misplaced inspiration and disorganized planning.”
