Carlos surprised me on the Carnival Triumph Cruiseship as we were departing St. Maarten....

While on the ship I excused myself to go take some snapshots of the beautiful view, and came across 2 french couples who were taking pictures of eachother, so I offered to take a group photo of them with their camera.

In the midst of the photos, I saw them staring behind me....I turned around to see what they were looking at, and it was my Carlos on his knee with a beautiful ring in his hand...before he could say a word, I screamed yes!

....and that's how we became engaged.
