How it happened....

Well, it’s been awhile since we got engaged so let me try and remember! Just kidding! How could I forget that day?

We were planning a vacation/business trip to Atlanta. Tommy had a Conference for work and I going to meet his Dad for the first time. Now, the day before we left my best friend Rachel said “I think ya’ll are gonna get engaged this weekend” and I thought she was crazy! Little did I know she was right…I don’t know how she knew but she did!
It was March 6th, 2006... I knew something was going on because he kept sneaking off to talk to someone on the phone and I have to admit that I was starting to get a little pissed off! I found out later that he was calling my Dad, which I think is the sweetest thing in the whole world! Well...later that day we were going to lunch and Tommy asked me to pick a place to have lunch, anywhere I wanted (Which also made think something was up). So we went to this restaurant called Buffalo's, ordered some hot wings and beer of course! I turned for my head to look at something, don’t even remember what it was but I when looked back there was a little black box on the table with a beautiful ring in it and Tommy asked me to marry him! And then our waitress walked out with our food...seriously…right in the middle of him proposing! Then I proceeded to jump up and down and giggle like a crazy person and completely forgot to ACTUALLY say yes! But I did say YES and the rest is history! 2 years later we're enjoying our first home and our wonderful little family with Dylan and our puppy Max!
