Once upon a time...

Allen called me and asked me if I wanted to go out to eat that night. I said sure, and when he came to pick me up he had a huge smile on his face. I asked him what was going on, and he said "Nothing. I just wanted to take you out to eat." At this point I almost asked him if he was going to propose to me, but I didn't. I didn't think that would happen for a while yet! So we go driving around looking for a restaurant. We end up driving in De Pere somewhere (he was looking for a place to eat near a park, but I didn't know this at this point!) Eventually, we ended on Broadway street at Kavarna. During dinner he was really quiet, but sometimes he's like that so I didn't mention anything to him. After we were finished, he asked if I would like to go for a walk. We walked down the street and he stopped me. He got down on one knee and proposed! Of course, I said yes. Allen gave me a gigantic hug, picked me up and told me he loves me. What an amazing night!
