What can we say....the first time we've met eachother we knew we would get married some day....we met in 1984. Patrick was 5 years old and Patricia was in the beginning of her 3rd year...

No we're kidding! But it's true that we know eachother since we were little kids going to the same church in Amsterdam. We've lost track of eachother when Patricia moved to Arnhem when she was 6 years old.

Patrick moved on...sad and alone...haha! We can't even remember the time we 'would' have spent time when we were little, but there is evidence of us playing together...(Trish: 'I love old pictures...especially those with my hair all tightened up with like ONE HUNDRED hairpins! Little Miss Facelift! Thank you mom!!!)

Ok...back to the story...we met 'again' when Trisha's brother Timothy and Pat's sister Claudia got into a relationship (status: They are married now and expecting their first little clone!). We weren't fond of eachother right away...Trish commented Pat on his strange hairdo (Trish: 'Did you forget to look in the mirror when you woke up this morning?') and Pat didn't like her straight-forwardness and just walked away...The story of our live 'til the day of today...nothing changed...only one important thing...we fell in love....*sigh*

Now 9 years later...after many ups and downs...we found out that nothing can seperate us...that's how simple our love is...We had our trials which made us stumble, but we got stronger out of it...because of this we knew that we would stay together and that God's hand is in our relationship...

We thank God every single day for having a partner we can love and receive love from in return...that's our life motto:

'To love and to be loved in return...'

Deciding to get married wasn't just from one day to another...we flowed into it. It's the right time to commit...we just know that... So talking about an engagement? There is no engagement...we're going straight away for the big stuff...We are getting married!!!
