Living our love song<3

Jon and I have known each other since high school. He was a senior and I was a freshmen. I knew he was the one even back then. Jon moved to North Carolina after graduation and we lost touch. After 2 years he contacted me. At first I was like who is this guy? Then my high school crush returned. We fell in love even at a distance. Jon moved back home to take another job and I like to say to be with me :-). When he got home it was raining, cold, and dark out but I just had to see him. I drove to his house with a pounding heart. When I saw him for the first time in 3 years I melted. He scooped me up and gave me an incredible hug. Then there was the first kiss that started it all. Ever since that one moment we knew we were meant for one another.
March 14, 2009 Jonathan and I were spending a wonderful weekend at Cape Cod. He seemed a little nervous all day. That night we were having our usual fight (over who loves who more). I always say "oh yea? Prove it." This time I said prove it and he got down on one knee, shaking, and asked me to marry him!!
I of course said YES! The real fairy tale part of our story is that Jon was leaving 2 weeks later for Marine boot camp. He graduates on my birthday!! Who ever said distance doesn't work wasn't in love. Our letters keep us connected, our love keeps us strong.
Now that I have babbled on for a while I hope I have at least made you say "aww!" Jonathan and I are soul mates and I am so excited that you get to be there to share our special day!
