Our Engagement Story

When you find out someone is engaged, the first question you usually ask is, "how did it happen?" As you all know, Will and I are not your usual couple!

We took a trip to L.A. last April. We stayed at the Orchid Inn downtown. We arrived Friday night, had a wonderful Saturday morning brunch overlooking the Moca Art Museum, and then hit the Jewelry District strip to shop for my ring. Low and behold (which was a complete surprise to both Will and myself), I found the perfect ring in the first hour of shopping! I got to pick out my diamond and my setting and sat to watch the ring be made. It was such a neat experience, and I would not have wanted it any other way!
