The Big Surprise!

For my 18th Birthday(June 06) Brandon bought me a diamond promise ring. It was beautiful! We had discussed getting Brandon a ring to symbolize our promise to eachother as well. In just the few months that we had been together I knew Brandon was the one for me. He always made me full whole, special, loved...I just knew. So one night when we were having a bbq with our 3 closest friends I gave him a scrapbook of us. The last page of the album was a love letter to him. When he flipped to the next page I had a dark colored page. His ring was hanging from wire on the page. When he went to pull it out he saw that I had written in dark ink, Will you Marry me? His eyes popped up to my face and said "you're ****tin me?" lol. I shook my head no and he just laughed and then finally said "yes, he could really see spending the rest of his life with me"!!!!

We talked about the wedding and little details but it was made clear very early on that we would have a long engagement. We wanted to move in together, make sure we could still stand eachother lol, but most importantly Brandon wanted me to be almost done with school before we even thought about getting married. So when our May 2nd wedding rolls around we will have been engaged 3 months shy of 3 years! Talk about a long engagement! But we are both glad we waited this long, everything just seems to be falling into place planning it and doing it right now.
