Why plan in fantasyland? Get the truth.

And I said yes!

We met at Django, a Saloon and gypsie kitchen accross the street from my work, at the time. He was my bar tender and ocassional "unqualified therapist." I had no interest in him really until after knowing him for a year, we hung out after a late shift with the crew he managed. A day later, a kiss. A year later, and we have never left each other's side.

After a horrible day at work, I met Jerrad (JJ) at Django for some food. it was the day before Thanksgiving and I had no idea why he cared to eat at the place he managed for so long. He was late to dinner and asked to come outside and meet him in the front of the resturaunt. I couldnt see him at first, and then he came out of the dark corner outside and got on one knee. It took a minute for me to gather my senses and see the whole crew of friends that he had arranged with champagne and cameras waiting for me to say yes! It was magical! I still get tears in my eyes thinking back on that day. More importantly, he proposed with his granmother's ring. She gave him her blessing and the ring she wore for over 50 years while married to his grandfather, whom he adored. The ring is an antique and original design created by a friend of the family. I am triple blessed!
