He asked my dad!

June 15, 2008 (Father's Day)

I had been rushing around all morning after my dad opened his father's day card and gift. I was getting ready to go see Tony's dad. We were taking him to Famous Dave's for Father's day dinner, and after we were going to go see Tony's mom who unfortunately was in the hospital that weekend.

While I was getting ready to leave my dad came upto me and told me in my ear "you have my blessing." I was like whatever I am busy have to get going. Not putting any thought into what had been said we went on our way to see Tony's dad. While I was driving Tony said to me.......

" What are you doing for the rest of your life?" I said " I don't even know what I am doing tomorrow let alone the rest of my life!!!" Sitting there driving down highway 55 thinking to myself "what a stupid question." He pulls out this little box and says " Can I spend the rest of my life with you?" I was obviosuly trying to focus on the road and him at the same time. (dangerous)

I said "yes!"

Here we are today planning our wedding and getting ready to say "I do!" We have been through alot in our relationship, and everyday that we have together is AMAZING! Love has certainly showed us the way and the path to get through anything!

Without the support, strength, guidance, & love of our parents we could not be where we are today. So thank you to our parents! We both love you all very much!
