Fraser's Proposal

We were in New York City for a little vacation before moving to Korea. Kathryn figured the trip would be a perfect time to get engaged, but she was positive Fraser didn't have a ring yet!

Little did she know, Fraser had told a little white lie about a problem at the passport office the day before the trip, and that's when he was picking up the ring. Sneaky!

The weather at the top of the Empire State Building on December 12, 2008 was very, very cold. Kathryn was looking at a map of the skyline, trying to figure out what they were looking at, when Fraser said, "Kathryn?"

She looked and he was down on one knee in front of all those people!

No one even noticed except one nice lady who took a few photos of the proposal and emailed them to us when she got home. Thank you, kind stranger!

(Oh, yeah. Kathryn said 'yes.')
