Milford Cakes, Toppers, & Stands: KHM Cakes

What did you get and how did you like it? Karen was able to replicate an irradescent blue tiered cake for me from a picture that I cut out of a magazine. She even added two edible sculpted birds as cake toppers upon my request! I also love that she was able to recreate the flavor of my grandmother's orange cake for my wedding cake! My husband also loved the sculpted cake of Homer Simpson watching a Packers game on TV for the groom's cake - a great surprise for him! The cake was just what I wanted.
Did they have any other options you liked? Karen had tons of ideas for cake styles, icings, and flavors! She gave me plenty of books and magazines to sift through to get ideas.
Were you happy? Would you do it again? Totally happy! In fact, if she's in Wisconsin during the summer, I order my daughter's birthday cakes from her, too.
What was the best comment from a guest? There were alot of wows from my husband's friends on how cool the groom's cake was - the game on the cake TV looked like a photo! Everyone thought the wedding cake was delicious, too. If you like the look of fondant icing (but not the taste), Karen mixes it with white chocolate and puts buttercream underneath it, as well. Very cool. Two people from our bridal party used hired her to do their wedding cakes, too!
