- What did you get and how did you like it? Beware if you are considering ordering a wedding cake from Maria. I ordered a 2 tier cake for my Hawaiian wedding in Nov. It was beautiful! But the cake itself was HORRIBLE! The butter cake was extremely dry and tasted a month old… it was not fresh. I paid $$$ for this cake and I expected it to be of highest quality. When I contacted Maria she did not respond. Guess she was laughing all the way to the bank! I signed a contract and paid extra for green sugar leaves this was on a contract… but the leaves were NOT on the cake! Good luck to all the brides if you choose to order from Maria. The cake will be pretty minus a few details... but will not be fresh! Go to Costco!
