  • Our favorite dish was the beef tenderloin, but it was all delicious!
  • We had a buffet style table and then we had a separate carving station for the meat and we also did hors d'oeuvres for the guests while my husband and I did our photos so our guests were standing around waiting on us.
  • We were clueless when it came to the planning and A Silverware Affair treated us so well, never made us feel inferior and gave us so many helpful suggestions. I felt like we got a free wedding planner from our caterer which was far beyond what I assumed we would get.

  • Favorite part of wedding day catering? The food was DELICIOUS and looked AMAZING! The staff at A Silverware Affair were so precise and experienced- they offered so many great suggestions. What I thought was going to be the most stressful part of my wedding ended up being the easiest!
  • How was food presented at the wedding reception? Cocktail hour? After-party? Brunch? We had a Cocktail - Hors D'oeuvres Hour. The bar and hors d'oeuvres were set-up for my guests for one hour, then the staff opened up the buffet, which I had chosen to be set up in to food stations. We chose to do an Open Bar with Beer and Wine Only and my guests were very pleased with how speedily the drinks were served and how knowledgeable the bartender and staff were regarding the food and drinks.
  • Most creative part of your wedding day catering? They decorate all of their buffets and food tables, and everything matched my theme perfectly (which was a Vintage theme - my colors were Mint, Coral, and Ivory). The food stations were set up so creatively! I had different food stations, including the Mashed Potato Bar and Pasta Bar. You can customize your menu, or look on their website for menus.
  • Favorite wedding dessert? We ordered our cake from Cup-A-Dee Cakes which was such a great choice! A Silverware Affair did provide cake-cutting service and it was included in my pricing!
